S. Sargsyan visited Yerevan's MC Arabkir (September 16, 2011)
President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan visited today Yerevan "Arabkir" medical complex where he was presented the results of 2007-2011 development program of "Arabkir" medical complex-Children and Teenager Health Institute. The president was accompanied by the Health Minister Harutyun Kushkyan, head of the NA's health, maternity and childhood standing committee Ara Babloyan, representatives of diplomatic representations.
The president toured in the complex, familiarized himself with the conditions of the newly built three-storeyed building.
Speaking to reporters Ara Babloyan said that the previously desperate pediatric building has been fully reconstructed and renovated during 2007-2011 and will serve as polyclinic and the pediatric department has been moved to the three-storeyed newly constructed building.
The complex provides free medical services for 0-7 age children, socially insecure children under 18 as well as children of special groups. The medical complex has 214 beds.
