Neurology & Epileptology
The neurological service at Arabkir JMC&ICAH provides medical evaluation, outpatient and inpatient diagnostic examinations and treatment aimed at increasing the quality of life of people with neurological problems.
Our staff consists of neurologists, who specialize and are regularly trained in the treatment of the following health problems: epilepsy, developmental disorders, attention deficit disorders, sleep disorders, neuromuscular disorders, neurogenetic disorders, neonatal neurology, mental retardation, cerebral palsy and many others. People with neurological problems are provided with rehabilitation care, treatment and psychosocial counseling.
The activities conducted every week include joint discussions with MR sessions and team meetings. When necessary, we provide physicians from different hospitals with consultations. For complex cases, we consult our partners in foreign countries. We also carry out neurology-related trainings for students and physicians involved in other fields of medicine.
Our service has substantially grown for the last two years and presently we closely cooperate with foreign experts in the fields of neurology, epilepsy, metabolic disorders. Within the cooperation that has been established, our team members are regularly trained in neurological centers in foreign countries.
The Republican Pediatric Centre of Epilepsy is also located at Arabkir JMC&ICAH. The children that are registered at the Center are provided with medication free of charge with the generous support of the sponsors and the state.
Our service actively participates in organization of international trainings related to epilepsy and metabolic disorders.
