Intensive Care and Resuscitation

Intensive Care and Resuscitation Unit (ICRU) provides specialized services to critically ill infants, children and adolescents: 1 month - 18 years old.

The ICRU at Arabkir JMC&ICAH is one of the largest ICUs in Armenia and is an integrated team, that provides inpatient and outpatient services. The service also realized transportation of patients to the hospital not only from Yerevan but also from the regions (marzes) of Armenia.

The department is the only one in Armenia providing specialized care and assistance to children with renal failure with the use of hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis methods.
Our staff regularly participates in the trainings in Armenia and foreign states to keep abreast of the new developments and innovative approaches.

The ICRU doctors also train Yerevan Mkhitar Heratsi State Medical University students and residents of National Health Institute on cardiopulmonary resuscitation and critical care assistance to children in different critical conditions.
